The idea for the film was born in 2003 when director/producer/actor Kate Madison wanted to submit a film for the Tolkien Fan Film Exhibition. Originally a modest plan, it grew until April 2006 when the first test shoot occurred. Principal photography started in June 2008, and continued through 2009. The goal was to debut at Ring*Con 2009, which it did. It was later streamed for free on various video websites including DailyMotion and YouTube. The film had to be non-commercial to avoid legal conflict with the commercial rights holders.[6]
A scattered people, the descendants of storied sea kings of the ancient West, struggle to survive in a lonely wilderness as a dark force relentlessly bends its will toward their destruction. Yet amidst these valiant, desperate people, hope remains. A royal house endures unbroken from father to son.

Jesus was born to die. He was born to be the sacrificial Lamb of God. He was born in Bethlehem only to be crucified on the cross. The birth of Jesus Christ marked the beginning of our journey toward harmony and reconciliation with God. Jesus Christ is available to every person regardless of ethnicity, economic status or religious preference. He is the Savior of the world, and He affords us harmony with God.
Jesus Christ, who was born in a manger, has cleansed His followers from all sin. We are indeed a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, all of which have been made possible because of the child who was born in Bethlehem more than 2,000 years ago. (1 Peter 2:9).
Born of Hope is a 2009 fantasy-adventure fan film directed by Kate Madison and written by Paula DiSante (as Alex K. Aldridge) that is based on the appendices of J. R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. The film centres on the communities affected by Sauron's war; the story of Arathorn II and his relationship with Gilraen, and the importance of the Dunedain bloodline.A scattered people, the descendants of storied sea kings of the ancient West, struggle to survive in a lonely wilderness as a dark force relentlessly bends its will toward their destruction. Yet amidst these valiant, desperate people, hope remains. A royal house endures unbroken from father to son. This 70 minute original drama is set in the time before the War of the Ring and tells the story of the Dunedain, the Rangers of the North, before the return of the King. Inspired by only a couple of paragraphs written by Tolkien in the appendices of the Lord of the Rings we follow Arathorn and Gilraen, the parents of Aragorn, from their first meeting through a turbulent time in their people's history.
"Love is the engine that enables our hope to go on". Pope Francis reiterated this concept several times at the General Audience in Saint Peter's Square on Wednesday, 12 April [2017]. In particular, he lauded mothers, who suffer as they labour to give birth, but then rejoice at having brought a child into the world. On the eve of the Paschal Triduum, the Pontiff reflected on the passage of John (12:24-25), which contrasts worldly hope with the hope of the Cross. The following is a translation of the Holy Father's catechesis, which he gave in Italian.
First, Jesus was born of a woman in fulfillment of prophecy. The takeaway is this: God is faithful to keep His promises. We can trust Him who, from the beginning, provided a way out from under the burden and destruction of sin. We can trust Him who, from the beginning, planned a way for us to be eternally free from the curse. It is under this curse that we have lost our precious babies to death. But because of Christ, the fulfillment of prophecy and the embodiment of faithfulness, we have hope that our babies live eternally.
Dear mama, Jesus has fully entered into your humanity so that He can minister to your hurting heart and offer hope like nothing else can. He was born into the world the same way that women, for millennia, have birthed their babies. He is our ultimate source of healing and hope.
This is tremendously important, because you can believe that the surgeon is eager, and you can believe that the surgical instrument is effective, and still die of heart disease. To get well from the disease of sin, and to have a living hope, you have to undergo the surgery itself. The eagerness of the surgeon and the effectiveness of the surgical instrument have to go to work on you and make your heart new. We call that the new birth. Without it there is no hope of eternal life.
So how do we put the surgical instrument of verse 3 and the surgical instrument of verse 23 together? Are they two different instruments or one? Verse 3 says, born anew through the instrument of the resurrection of Jesus. Verse 23 says, born anew through the word of God, the gospel that was preached to you.
And therefore we are utterly without hope in ourselves. Because Paul says in 1 Corinthians 2:14 that the natural man (the man who is just flesh) does not welcome the things of the Spirit of God because they are folly to him, and he is not able to know them because they are spiritually appraised.
The point of that saying is to stress the sovereign freedom of God in the work of regeneration. The wind of the Spirit blows where it wills, not where we will. Therefore John says in John 1:13 that we were born not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.
That leads us to our final consideration. Why does God only cause new birth in the presence of the gospel? Answer: because the aim of new birth is to create hope in the heart of sinners, and if there was no gospel, there would be no message in which to hope.
It would be contrary to the wisdom of God for him to beget a child of hope and give him no gospel to hope in. So God has ordained that he will always unite the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit with the preaching of the gospel.
When it says that some do not obey the gospel of God, it teaches us that the gospel has a command as well as a promise. The command to everyone everywhere is repent, turn from your sin, and set your hope fully on Jesus Christ. The promise is that your sins will be forgiven and you will enter into the kingdom of heaven.
A. Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. Ephes. 2:11-13
I. THE ESSENCE OF HOPE, Luke 2:1-7 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. This essence begins with
C. And this brings us to the Person, the real Essence of Hope: And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

Again, much later, Arathorn passes the ring on to Aragorn, as he dies in battle trying to free their lands of orcs. In this passing, Arathorn refers to Gilraen as his joy and to Aragorn as their hope. This much is true: Middle Earth would have no hope if not for Aragorn. He is the ultimate hero. 2ff7e9595c
