I am almost to the end of the free trial on Network Magic, so I'm trying to decide if I want to add another $30 or $40 to the $400 I've already paid for the network components. I needed to know what functions will go away if I don't pay for the Network magic. I have found it very helpful in set up and in resolving some lingering problems in connecting in an old emac and a laptop. I was able to get the laptop configured so much easier with the help of Network magic and I'm using the file sharing and printer sharing as well. I didn't have that with my old, cheaper Ativa network. I understand that some basic functions will remain after the trial, but this review has me pretty well convinced to go ahead and buy it.
