Crocodile Physics is an educational game for children where they learn about the physics of how their toy crocodiles move on a surface. The game features four colorful toys with different toy crocodiles, each with its own unique personality. When the player interacts with them, the model responds according to its personality and will pick up or drop off one object at a time into its mouth. This allows children to experience how objects behave when tossed around by gravity on various surfaces. There are thirteen different scenarios to play, each with a different setting which is chosen by the player. The game was created by Media Molecule, who originally intended it to be used as an educational toy for young children. At first, there were no plans to include this game into the "LittleBigPlanet" series. However, after the positive reaction of journalists and children, the team decided to publish it as part of "LittleBigPlanet 2". This is also one of the few games that feature user-created content on the PlayStation 3 due to its inclusion on "LittleBigPlanet 2", though this part of the game is more geared towards adults than children. In the "LittleBigPlanet 2" version, when a puzzle is completed, it can be shared with other players from all over the world. The credits for the creation of the puzzles are shown in a video. If players were not able to complete the puzzle, then user-created credits can be seen instead. A group of engineers and researchers at Media Molecule created this game for educational purposes. It was originally designed to be used as an educational toy for young children, but after it's positive reception Media Molecule decided to make it part of "LittleBigPlanet 2". This game was designed to help children realize that the world is full of possibilities, not just what they imagine. It was also designed to help children who were afraid of different parts of the world learn to accept their fear. Another goal of this game was to allow players to easily create content for other players, allowing them to make new PSN friends and learn about physics at the same time. The game received positive reviews but some noted its lack of difficulty. It received 1/4 from "Edge" magazine and 8/10 from previewers on IGN. Reviewers praised the gameplay and physics behind it, but criticized it for not bringing much to "LittleBigPlanet 2". The game received a sequel titled "Crocodile Physics 2", which was released in the United Kingdom on PSN in November 2013.IGN's James White reviewed the game negatively stating "Predictably, like with most LittleBigPlanet games, the trouble is that it’s not designed for adults. It is very much designed for children; young, curious minds who I'm sure would love to see what happens when you drop an Xbox 360 into a crocodile’s mouth. Sadly that same mind is probably likely to be able to outgrow this game pretty quickly unless they're heavily supervised." The game has won several awards for its educational content. cfa1e77820
