In Marvel Puzzle Quest there are two resources like in any F2P game: ISO 8 which is the free currency and hero points which are the premium. ISO 8 is awarded for beating missions and is sometimes a bonus reward while hero points are rarely a bonus reward and can be bought with real money.

Events come for a limited time. New events come every week. If you play them and are victorious, you will earn hero points. You can also earn coins depending on your rank on the leaderboards when the event ends. How do you get more command points in Marvel Puzzle Quest?
You can spend Hero Points on a lot of things in Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign. If you're buying points, you might have enough to buy the occasional cover from the Recruit menu or restock your Health Packs. You can also spend them to upgrade a hero's powers, which might be safer than trying to buy random covers. This method of upgrading powers tends to be very expensive, though.
This is a somewhat controversial question. It's nearly impossible to have a roster large enough to hold every hero unless you sink a lot of cash into hero points for roster upgrades. However, the "best" team of heroes is a very subjective question. I'll give you some general tips, and then my picks.
We've been playing Marvel Puzzle Quest (available on iOS, Android, and Steam) for nearly two years now, and for the most part it keeps getting better and better. D3 Go and Demiurge have taken the stellar puzzle RPG dynamic from D3's earlier Puzzle Quest games and added new layers of strategy with Marvel-themed stories and quest lines.
When you start out, you'll get Iron Man (Model 35) and soon collect Black Widow (Modern), Storm (Modern), and Hawkeye (Classic). Build them up to full strength because together they make a great starter set. Someday you'll sell off all but Iron Man (he's the sole 1-star character worth keeping long-term and the only character you'll need to beat the 1-star challenge in Deadpool's Daily). You'll get through the main story quests fine with these four covers (plus whatever else you pick up along the way): Black Widow's ability to freeze enemies plus Storm's elemental attacks are pretty powerful, and add either Iron Man's power attacks or Hawkeye's strategic strikes to mop up most enemies in the early rounds. After the main story, you'll dive into Tournaments, which last from a couple of days to a week and are best played with an Alliance (more on that in a bit).
Recruit your favorite marvel hero characters from the X-Men, Avengers, S.H.I.E.L.D., Guardians of the Galaxy and more! Whether you play Spider-Man alongside his arch-nemesis Venom, or play Captain Marvel alongside her Ms. Marvel successor, Kamala Khan, YOU assemble your very own epic team of Marvel Comics Super Heroes!
In this turn-based RPG game, the player has to fight with a deck of three Marvel superheroes from the entire universe, to fight three villains or supervillains. The game is based on matching colored puzzles, where each color represents the power of different characters.
When a minimum of three colors are matched in the puzzle, the character deals damage to the villain. In addition to this, there are other extra powers located in the puzzle which will be unlocked once the player levels up their Marvel heroes.
The six different colors of gems on the board give energy when they match, allowing for the usage of special moves. Players alternate hits until one of them is defeated. The battle ends once all adversaries have been taken out, exposing a prize for the victor. Each character has designated colors in the puzzles, which when matched, provide a boost to the special power of the hero that deals extra damage to the enemies.
Different cover pages of the same hero enable the player to upgrade different skills. These skills are directly in relation to the colors of the puzzles. The stronger the hero, the more HP the hero has. Once the player levels up, he or she would receive Iso-8 points that can be used to upgrade the hero deck.
If during a mission, your heroes receive damage or lose all their health points, you will have to wait until they heal. Health packs can heal the heroes instantly, but they are hard to get, and you will burn through them quickly in a long gaming session.
With my quest to unlock the house for free seeming ever more impossible, I have turned to trying to lure in the rare cats, like Billy The Kitten, who only appears if you have a cowboy hat to play with. 2ff7e9595c
